2020 Celebration of Courage
Celebrating the Courage it Takes to Lead an Authentic Life in Recovery
Friday, August 14, 2020 ~ 8:30 to 9:30 am
One in five people experience a mental illness daily. This translates to over 200,000 residents in Wake County who live with a medical condition that affects their thinking, feeling, and mood.
Despite their diagnosis, barriers to care, and stigma, many thousands have been able to not only survive – but thrive. We will honor these members of our community at NAMI Wake’s Annual Celebration of Courage on August 14th, 2020.
We invite you to be part of this year’s Celebration of Courage, and join us in working to create a community where mental health is valued. View our digital invitation here.
